The PD78P4038, 78K/IV Series' product, is a one-time PROM or EPROM version of the PD784035, PD784036, PD784037, and PD784038 with internal masked ROM. Since user programs can be written to PROM, this microcontroller is best suited for evaluation in system development, manufacture of small quantities of multiple products, and fast start-up of applications.
